As the mild sun shines over Dubai in November<\/a>, the Dubai Safari Park is opening its gates to a world of wonder and adventure for young explorers. This month, the park would be hosting a series of interesting Young Explorer Workshops, to ignite the curiosity and passion of aspiring naturalists, ecologists, and wildlife enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

Children and their parents across the world are invited to join the Young Explorer Workshops, which would be scheduled every Saturday from November 2nd 2024 to November 23rd 2024, and then again from November 29th 2024 to December 3rd 2024 to coincide with the grand UAE National Celebration.<\/p>\n

This event will be an unforgettable learning experience for your children and also yourself.<\/p>\n

Enrichment Workshop 2nd November 2024<\/h3>\n

This next workshop is crucial as your children will get to learn more about the physical and mental well-being of the animal residents. From designing innovative feeding puzzles, to creating stimulating habitats, the kids will gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role that enrichment plays.<\/p>\n

At the Enrichment workshop, your children will get their hands dirty, craft their own enrichment toys and also help contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life of these animals.<\/p>\n

The Habitat Workshop (9th November 2024)<\/h3>\n

This is the second one in this educational series at Dubai Safari Park. Here, young minds will get to learn about the delicate ecosystem and the various zones.<\/p>\n

Led by park expert guides, your children will learn about the delicate balance of these habitats, from lush rainforest to the dry, and rough mountain landscapes.<\/p>\n

There will be a lot of hands-on activities and engaging discussions at the Habitat Workshop. Your kids will also learn how these conservation efforts and protection techniques help safeguard and restore these precious environments for these gentle animals.<\/p>\n

The Climate Change Workshop (16th November 2024)<\/h3>\n

This section will focus on the pressing global issue of ecological change and its impact on these animals.<\/p>\n

At this workshops at Dubai Safari Park your kids will learn about the reasons while temperatures rise, shifting weather patterns and human-induced environmental changes.<\/p>\n

Children will get the opportunity to explore the ways in which rising temperatures, shifting weather patterns, and human-induced environmental changes are drastically affecting the lives of the inhabitants of the park.<\/p>\n

They will also get an idea how these animals are affected by the climatic changes and it will nurture their understanding, empathy, and responsibility towards the environment.<\/p>\n

This Climate Change Workshop will be extremely knowledgeable for your children and help them become active stewards of the environment.<\/p>\n

Taxidermy Workshop (23rd November 2024)<\/h3>\n

This workshop might be for the older kids, but they will get a unique hands-on opportunity to learn about the art and science of preserving animal specimens. Guided by the expert taxidermists, children will learn about the intricate process of preparing and mounting animals specimens.<\/p>\n

Not only will they get to explore the technique, but also develop a profound understanding of the importance of preserving and studying these natural treasures at the Taxidermy Workshop.<\/p>\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\t
